European Commission has distinguished the typical “ovos moles” with Protected Geographical Indication. Inside barrels painted with some of the symbols of Aveiro or wrapped in a host shaped with sea motives, this convent-made sweet (a regional delicacy made of egg yolks and sugar) is an explosion of flavour which is worth trying!
