The Centre of Contemporary Culture recently opened its doors to the public, presenting a major art exhibition of Latin-American art that belongs to the prestigious Berardo collection.

92 art works from 22 countries can be seen during a year, in a partnership between Berardo Foundation and the City Hall of Castelo Branco. The monumental painting by surrealist Chilean artist Roberto Matta “Watchman, What of the Night?” will be presented for the first time in Portugal. Also worth highlighting: the sculpture “Male Torso” by Colombian sculptor Fernando Botero, famous for the generous shapes of his creations, placed in front of the building, or the works of renowned Mexican mural painters such as Diego Rivera, David Alfaro Siqueiros and RufinoTamayo. Absolutely breathtaking!
